As the name suggests Wolfsegg Castle is a castle located in Wolfsegg, Germany. Wolfsegg is a small village in Germany and the castle is its major tourist attraction. The castle is popular for its beauty as well as its ghost stories. It was built in the 13th century by a wealthy man named Ulrich Von Laaber. It was also used as a guest house for traveling troops. But later on left for the community who can use it to shelter families in need. Now, volunteers work to restore the castle.

- The castle is said to be haunted by the ghost of Klara Von Helfenstein who was wife of the owner of the house. Ulrich who made this castle used to live here with his wife Klara, he had to travel due to his military responsibilities. Meanwhile, Klara was alone and got bored. She became engaged in an affair and when Ulrich came to know about all this, he killed Klara in her chamber. According to the local belief, her spirit is still wandering in the halls of the castle especially in her bedroom. Many visitors has noticed strange light anomalies, electromagnetic field disturbances and full-bodied apparition sightings at the castle.
- One more mysterious thing is "The Hole" which exists in the forest surrounding the castle. When the hole was found it contain large amounts of bones in its several chambers. The founder of castle Ulrich and his son went missing under mysterious circumstances from the forest. They never found again. According to some of rumors, there lives a monster within a hole that is said to have responsible for their disappearance. Also, some people have heard strange noises from the forest and area around the hole. May be these stories are made to keep people away from the forest. But these stories create a thirst to know more about the castle and the surrounding. The castle is beautifully made and is worth watching.
