The Solana Beach is a charming seaside community nestled along the northern coast of San Diego County. It is approximately a 30-minute drive from downtown San Diego and has many hidden coves and surfing hot spots. Its coastline is roughly 1.7 miles long, is beautiful and offers a chance to watch the splendid sunset every day.

- The Solana beach has many hotspots for shopping and dining. The most popular is the Cedros Design District area. It has over 85 different art galleries, boutiques, other small shops, and cafes. Every Sunday, a farmer?s market is held a year long. There is also a small club where you can hear live music.
- It is the favorite destination for those looking to enjoy the beach, eclectic shops, great dining, golfing, nightlife, and nearby hiking. Other nearby attractions include the Fletcher Cove Park, Annie's Canyon Trail, the North Coast Repertory Theatre, and the Trios gallery.
- The San Elijo Lagoon spans over 1,000 acres of land. It is filled with wildlife, scenery, and plenty of things to do like bird watching and going on a walk, there are walking paths that span 7 miles! It provides a chance to get fresh air and some outdoor exercise while absorbing the beauty around.
- The seaside is beautiful and adequate for surfing. The beach has many hidden coves and surfing spots. The Fletcher Cove is a popular spot for surfing while Tide beach is known for its delicate white sand. It is a family-friendly environment and was even named the friendliest beach town in the county.
- The olden-days famous actor/singer Bing Crosby had a liking to the beach. He once lived off of Via de la Valle in an adobe house that he purchased and restored in 1923. It was built in the year 1845 by Don Juan Osuna, former mayor of San Diego, and it still stands today.
- The Eden garden also is known as La Colonia de Eden Gardens or La Colonia and Eden Gardens is one of the oldest residential areas of Solana Beach. The neighborhood was formed in the 1920s by Mexican farmers.
