Dumas Beach is a beach and is a popular tourist destination in Gujarat. It is just 21 kilometers away from the Surat City of Gujarat. The beach is spread in area of two kilometers. You can take blessings at Dariya Ganesh Temple which is located near the beach. It is a perfect place of picnic with the variety of shops selling Indian snacks like Pav Bhaji, Bhajiya, Sweet corn and Chinese food. Now you can also visit the place through air with the inauguration of the Surat International Airport by PM Narendra Modi in order to increase tourism at the place.

Taxi
The most convenient option to reach the beach is to take a taxi or a cab. As there is a small distance from the city it will take an affordable rent and you will reach the place easily.
Bus
If you prefer to go by bus then your bus will leave you either at Dumas Bus Stand or Bimpore bus stand. Jamna Nagar Bus Stop and ONGC Colony Bus Stop are also close to the location. After reaching there, you can take any autorickshaw or take a walk to reach the destination.

- It is said that the site was used for Hindu burial, that’s why the sand in the place is turned black due to the heat of the burials of the dead bodies.

- It is reportedly said that many tourists at the place went missing. Also, a dead body was found with his tongue popping out.
- Many people claims that they have listened people laughing and someone crying, even though they were alone at the beach. Also, locals say that they have seen white apparitions at the place. Who knows what the mystery behind these stories is. But the area is gaining media attention and is popular as one of the top 35 haunted locations in India.
