About Con Dao
Con Dao is an island groups located in the southeast coast of the Vietnam. It is spread in an area of 76 kilometer square. It is popular for the marine life, sandy beaches and coral reefs. The scuba divers can enjoy here at the dive sites located on the island. The area is also a breeding place of turtles. Several eggs of turtle could be found under the ground. Bay Canh Lighthouse is also located on the islands. It is designated as the UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2006.

How To Reach Con Dao
Several means of transport are available to get the tourists to the island. Some of them are:
Air
You can take a flight from Ho Chi Minh city to the island. Daily flights are departed from the airport of the city which will leave to the place and save you precious time.
Ferry
As the flight is a costly option you can go there using the ferry. First, take a bus or train to Ho Chi Minh from any place in Vietnam from where you decided to go to these islands. From there, you can take a ferry which will leave you at Ben Dam port. After reaching there, you can take a short van or taxi to your hotel location.

  • There is also the famous Hang Duong Cemetery existed on the island where the travelers pay respect to the grave of 19-year-old-girl Vo Thi Sau who was executed in 1952 for singing a resistance song.
